Food took 2 and 3/4 hours to arrive. It was luke warm. I ordered gravy, I got curry sauce. I asked for scraps and salt and vinegar, got none. In the restaurant the food is excellent, I hoped a delivery would be as near as possible to the restaurant food. I've been sadly disappointed.

Ok I suppose, this is not carvers anymore, they've kept the name, but not the standard over cooked, and some raw chips, not the same at all, asked for scraps didn't get any and had to wait 1 hr 30 mins , for delivery, when Eric and Rosie owned it, it was was much better, know you cant live in the past but , won't use again, not Impressed at all.

I always order from Carvers when I get a chippy and its usually great. Today however service and food quality were shocking. I ordered at 17.21 my food was due 18.42 (a long time in its self but has always been worth it) food didnt arrive till 7.15 gone so half hour late. Pie pastry was like chewing leather. The gravy was literally like water and tasted like it, too. The chips left a coating of grease on the roof of my mouth. I rang to see where my order was and the lady said it was on its way and said feedmeonline shouldnt have given 18.42 time as it was a two hour wait fir food because they were busy. Not impressed at all today

The specials are a good size portion. Took around 50 minutes for delivery. Only downside it was slightly cold by the time it arrived. They provided me a non battered fish as requested. All in all not a bad meal.
